Simply 4 the Love

SIMPLY 4 THE LOVE

It been said that when you’re doing something you love you'll never work again. Gary Vaynerchuk proves this point yet again in his presentation at the 2008 Web 2.0 expo. I've been working for way too long and there are two things that I love to more than anything else in the world, and that's Coaching and Music. I have been coaching for over six (6) years and doing music for three (3) years and the passion for each is what drives me to be the best at both.

Gary explained to the audience how he left the family business after taking it over and raising its profit margins to numbers it hadn't seen to starting his company Wine Library TV. He talks about how if you love doing something money isn't important. It’s also something about doing what you love that will have you up into the late hours of the night working on it. Gary also informed the audience that caring about the people that support your brand is key to the success of your brand. He explains how he responds to every email that he gets from his customers and the positive impact that it has on his company’s growth.

As I watched his presentation I began to agree with plenty of the things that he said because as a coach and label executive I've never been paid, yet it has never stopped me from putting in total effort in order to reach any goal of the team or label because I love doing what it is the job requires. Passion, Love, and a Zest for doing something for free mean that there is true happiness in that person. Gary encouraged the crowd to stop doing things they hate "RIGHT NOW" and the response was a loud applaud throughout the audience.

Doing something Simply 4 the Love of it is more rewarding than doing something just for the money. When you love what you do your never bored, tired, drained, or sick. The love wakes you and gives the energy and motivation to go to work, it drives you to succeed and it does it without looking for anything in return.
